  Jacques Bermon Webster I, born April 30th, 1990 also known as Travis Scott (formerly Travi$ Scott), is an American artist and rapper. His stage name is the name of a beloved uncle, and also the initial name given to Kid Cudi, his inspiration (whose real name was Scott Mescudi). In 2012, Scott signed his first major label contract with Epic Records. He also signed a publishing agreement for GOOD Music with Kanye West. In April 2013 the singer-songwriter signed a joint-recording agreement with Epic and T.I. He signed a joint recording contract with Epic as well as T.I. Scott's first album, Owl Pharaoh was self-released on his own in 2013. In 2013 Scott released his first full-length mixtape called Owl Pharaoh. The album was followed by Days Before Rodeo. Rodeo (2015), his debut album on the studio, featured the hit single "Antidote". The album that followed entitled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first top-ranked album on the Billboard 200. In the next year, Scott released a collaborative album with Quavo called Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho under the band name Huncho Jack.In 2018, his third studio album, Astroworld, was released to acclaim from critics and also produced his debut Billboard Hot 100 number one single, "Sicko Mode" (featuring Drake). Scott's Cactus Jack Records album JackBoys debut on the Billboard 200 in late 2019. Scott's single "Franchise", featuring Young Thug, M.I.A. and other artists, debuted. in 2020, Scott became the first artist on the Hot 100 to have three songs debut at number one within less than a year.
